After completing this program, participants should be better able to:
1. Identify red flags for ADHD and tools for ADHD assesment and diagnosis
2. Differentiate ADHD from comorbidities and initiate and prioritise treatment for ADHD with comorbidities
3. Utilize ADHD medications according to ADHD Guidelines and troubleshoot for optimal response
4. Customize a psychosocial intervention plan
This introductory course is targeted at healthcare professionals, residents and trainees interested in learning how to assess, diagnose and treat ADHD.
The CADDRA Introduction to ADHD for Healthcare Professionals learning program is available for free to all CADDRA members, premium access members. Non-members can purchase access.
CADDRA - Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance has been approved by the College of Family Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Psychological Association to offer 5.5 continuing education credits for this program. CADDRA maintains responsibility for the program.
In order to claim these credits, a CME certificate can be requested upon completion of each module.
Non-members program cost is 35CAD per module or 120CAD for all 4 modules.
