Complex ADHD Assessment and Management: Expert Series 2

This five-hour accredited program is available either as independent sessions or as a five-session package. All presentations were recorded at CADDRA’s ADHD Research Day and Conference.

Participants will have ongoing access to the course materials once purchased. Completion of a reflective exercise and discussion forum participation is necessary for receipt of a certificate of accreditation.

Overall Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. List strategies to help determine the presence of ADHD in the setting of other psychiatric comorbidities.
  2. Describe and delineate tonic versus phasic irritability.
  3. Identify the relevance of emotion dysregulation as it occurs in ADHD to DMDD.
  4. Integrate the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders in ADHD.
  5. Describe research findings regarding the efficacy of ADHD medications in patients with active substance use disorders.
Target Audience

This course is targeted at healthcare professionals and residents interested in learning more about ADHD.

CADDRA – Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance has been approved by the College of Family Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Psychological Association to offer 6.25 continuing education credits for completing the full series (1.25 credits per session).

Participation in a discussion forum and reflective exercise are required to claim full credits.
