This FREE one hour ADHD in Practice accredited practice-change program offers a step-by-step guide through a streamlined ADHD assessment and management process using CADDRA’s ADHD Treatment, Education and Assessment Tool (ADHD TrEAT).

ADHD TrEAT allows clinicians to send questionnaires to clients for completion through a secure online portal. Graphic interpretative is provided for returned forms, along with downloadable PDFs of the completed documents.  Referral options (members only) and information handouts are embedded in the system.

This course allows non-CADDRA members to access ADHD TrEAT for five patients. Ongoing access to ADHD TrEAT is free for CADDRA members.

  1. Implement a streamlined process for assessing ADHD.
  2. Identify and access assessment tools for ADHD.
  3. Recommend treatment options for ADHD.
  4. Provide ADHD educational information to clients.

This program has been approved by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Psychological Association.  Participation in a discussion forum and completion of a reflective exercise are required for certification.

College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter: This 2 credit-per-hour self-learning program has been certified for up to 2.0 Self-Learning certified credits.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada: This activity is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the University of Calgary Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development. You may claim a maximum of 1 hour (credits are automatically calculated).
